TCS-02-70 System for Calling a Waiter, for up to 70 TablesWhat is TCS-02-70? TCS-02-70 is a wireless system for calling a waiter, allowing the customer to call a waiter to the table using a console on the table. After pushing a button or buttons on the console, the transmitter in the console sends a signal to a receiver. The signal sent by the console extends up to 200 metres in an open, unobstructed area. The receiver is located in the casing of the screen. Tables have to be numbered and every table has a unique console linked with the number of the table. By pushing a button on a console the console’s number lights up on the screen. The number remains active on the screen until a waiter pushes the “cancel” button on the console. The screen can display the numbers of all 70 tables at the same time (see Picture 1). Every console has four buttons, with four different options (see Picture 2). A waiter can distinguish between the three requests a customer might have by the colour of the table number displayed on the screen. If a customer pushed many buttons at the same time, the corresponding table number starts to flicker on the screen in the corresponding colours. Once at the table, the waiter pushes the “cancel” button – doing so cancels the customer’s call – and then takes down the customer’s request. Consoles can be attached to tables with adhesive tape or with screws, if necessary. The consoles are, under normal circumstances, resistant to moisture and water (e.g. they are rainproof). |

Where can one use the TCS-02-70 system? TCS-02-70 is well suited for entertainment and catering establishments with up to 70 tables and where customers are mostly served at the table. The effect of TCS-02-70 is especially significant if the service area is divided into smaller subareas, it consists of many rooms, has many floors, if in summertime the area is expanded by placing tables outside or on a balcony, or if the number of service personnel is limited. TCS-02-70 is not suitable for places where the customers are serviced only at the counter, there are few tables (usually less than 15) and all tables can be constantly monitored from the counter. |
