What is TKCS-04-35/10?

TKCS-04-35/10 is a wireless system for calling a waiter, allowing the customer to call a waiter to the table using a console on the table. After pressing a button or buttons on the console results in the transmitter in the console transmitting a signal to the monitor receiver and/or wrist watch-receiver  (hereinafter referred to as wrist watch). The signal sent by the console extends up to approximately 100 metres in an open, unobstructed area. Tables have to be numbered and every table has a unique console linked with the number of the table. When a button is pressed on the console, the number of the respective table lights up on the monitor and/or on the display of the wrist watch. The number remains active on the screen of the monitor receiver and/or the wrist-watch until a waiter pushes the “cancel” button on the console. It is possible to insert up to 400 consoles into the monitor-receiver memory. The monitor-receiver enables to display four last calls on the screen of the monitor-receiver. Every console is equipped with three buttons that contain three different requests. Functions of the buttons: 1) Bill $, 2) Call, 3) Cancel. A member of the customer service staff can see three requests from a customer based on the text $ (Bill $) and/or Image of a waiter/waitress (Call) on the screen of the wrist watch. If a customer has pressed several buttons on the console, the table number on the screen of the monitor-receiver will flash in the colour red. Once at the table, the waiter then takes down the customer’s request and then pushes the “cancel” button – doing so cancels the customer’s call. The consoles are, under normal circumstances, resistant to moisture and water (e.g. they are rainproof). It is possible to insert 99 consoles into the memory of the wrist watch. The wrist watch enables to display the last call on the screen of the wrist watch (up to 10 calls will remain into the memory which can be viewed later using the button Next on the wrist watch). Functions of the buttons: 1) Function (to enter the menu of the wrist watch), 2) Next (to operate in the menu), 3) Select (to operate in the subfolders in the menu), 4) Cancel (confirmation).

Where can one use the TKCS-04-35/10 system?

The system is well suited for entertainment and catering establishments with up to 35 tables and where customers are mostly served at the table. The effect of the system is especially significant if the service area is divided into smaller subareas, it consists of many rooms, has many floors, if in summer time the area is expanded by placing tables outside or on a balcony, or if the number of service personnel is limited. The system is not suited for venues where service is provided exclusively at the bar/counter, or if it is possible to constantly monitor all of the tables from the bar.
